Purpose

This website provides general patient education. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace an in-person medical consultation. In emergencies, go to the nearest emergency department.

Authorship and medical review

Medical content is authored or medically edited by Assoc. Prof. Cengiz Dibekoğlu, MD. Text reflects current surgical guidelines, evidence-based practice, and clinical experience; individual decisions require examination and appropriate tests.

Author series notes

On selected pages, peer-reviewed studies by the author that directly match the topic may appear in short cited boxes (“From our published series”).

These are not patient testimonials or success advertising; they summarize retrospective cohort findings for education only. They do not promise individual outcomes or services.

Update cadence

Content is reviewed on a periodic basis. When major guideline or practice changes occur, relevant pages are updated. The “last reviewed” date shown on pages reflects the site-wide medical content review baseline.

Images and AI-assisted visuals

Educational 3D illustrations, diagrams, and infographics are representative; they do not guarantee individual anatomy or surgical outcomes.

Hyper-realistic or AI-assisted gallery images are for education only and are not real patient images. No intra-operative or patient-identifiable promotional images are published.

Tumor board, forms, and documents

Tumor board and contact forms do not upload files to the web server automatically. Some requests are handled via phone or WhatsApp by appointment.

Do not paste national ID numbers, full pathology/discharge summaries, or detailed medical records into forms or messages; use the contact channels for secure sharing.

Limits and expectations

Stage, tumor biology, comorbidities, and risk–benefit differ for every patient. A technique described on the site may not be appropriate for you.

Web content does not establish a physician–patient relationship. Treatment decisions follow examination, imaging, pathology, and multidisciplinary review.
