Armored CAR-T — solid tumors

Araştırma alanı dosyası (tek çalışma değil): zırhlı / sitokin zırhlı CAR-T (katı tümörler)

Record type
Treatment-technology research area (not a single NCT)
Evidence level
Mostly early clinical (phase I) in solid tumors. Hematologic CAR-T success does not automatically transfer.

Not a treatment recommendation. Experimental or ongoing research does not by itself replace standard care.

Scope
Multiple / solid tumors — Araştırma alanı — alt kartlarda hastalık tipine göre
How it works
Patient T cells are engineered to recognize cancer. ‘Armoring’ can add signals such as IL-18 so cells work better in immunosuppressive solid-tumor microenvironments.
Translational distance
Solid-tumor translation is early; toxicity, target choice, and manufacturing are critical. Not a surgical-oncology standard.

For patients

What is being studied? Immune cells can be engineered in the lab to recognize cancer and returned to the patient. In solid tumors this approach is still early research.

Why promising? Hypothesis of improving T-cell fitness inside immunosuppressive solid-tumor environments.

What is not proven? Broad solid-tumor efficacy; routine GI surgical-oncology use; long-term safety.

Is this standard care today? This listing alone does not replace standard care; approval and guideline context require clinician judgment.

For clinicians

Site priority: high. Example: ARMADA NCT07783477 (DLL3+; phase I). No automatic generalization to GI surgical indications.

Cancer / population: Multiple / solid tumors — Araştırma alanı — alt kartlarda hastalık tipine göre

Intervention: Genetik olarak yeniden programlanmış T hücreleri ± IL-18 vb. ‘zırh’ sinyalleri

Primary endpoint: Alan düzeyinde tek primer sonlanım yok

Limitations: Erken faz; hastalık seçimi (DLL3+ nöroendokrin/SCLC vb.) dar olabilir.
